Dockwa Dispatch: June 2026
Get more from Dockwa - one update at a time
July brought a wave of payments updates to Dockwa — credit card surcharging is now live across contracts, POS, and fuel, and card-present payment collection just got a meaningful upgrade. Alongside those, tip preset configuration landed in POS, Dockwa Service hit early access, and we rolled out more secure login methods. Here's what shipped this month.
If you've been absorbing credit card fees all season, that changes now. Surcharging is live on Dockwa for contracts, POS, and fuel — up to 3%, with debit and prepaid cards automatically excluded. A handful of states aren't eligible, and setup takes four steps in your portal.
Contract installments, pay-later invoices, reservation balances — these are the payments that used to happen off-system. A boater hands you a card, and there was no clean way to take it without breaking the invoice or re-ringing it through POS. That gap is closed. The Settle modal now routes directly to the card reader, charge attached to the original record.
Tipping at a marina is more nuanced than it looks. The percentages you set on your card reader shape what staff actually take home and how boaters experience the transaction. Here's how marina tipping works on Dockwa — and how to configure presets that fit your operation.
Service has always been the missing piece. Work orders, job tracking, billing, and payment collection are now part of Dockwa — everything you need to run your marina, in one place.
Your marina management platform holds your contracts, payment data, staff access, and boater records. The login screen is the front door to all of it — and it's worth treating it that way. Here's what's new.
