Get more from Dockwa - one update at a time

Welcome back. June is here, peak season is fully underway, and there's a lot to cover this month.

We announced a partnership with PSG — and we're sharing the demand data that tells the same story the investment does. We're giving you a first look at Dockwa Service, launching soon. We're talking about why some marinas are running dual systems and paying for it in ways they don't track. A quick update on Spaces (more on that below). And we're making the case that your fuel dock is one of your biggest marketing assets right now.

Let's get into it.

ICYMI: Dockwa Partners with PSG

We recently announced a partnership with PSG, a growth equity firm focused on high-growth software businesses. The marina industry — a $57 billion economy with nearly 4,000 marinas and 450,000+ boaters — is exactly the kind of large, underserved market PSG focuses on.

The investment reflects what our data already shows. Bookings are up 13% year over year. Fuel searches are up 5x. Diesel prices at the dock are up 52%. The boaters driving volume growth are price-aware, planning in real time, and more likely than ever to choose a marina based on what they find online.

Coming Soon: Service

Your marina already runs on Dockwa — reservations, billing, POS and fuel, spaces. Soon, your service department can too.

The initial Service release is a work order management module built directly into your existing Dockwa account. Create a work order. Scope the job. Track progress. Bill when it's done. Collect payment — including online. No new system. No separate login. No double entry.

We're sharing details with marinas that reach out ahead of launch. If you want to be among the first to learn more, let us know you're interested.

The Hidden Cost of Running Two Systems

If you're using one platform for reservations and a separate system for contracts and billing — you're doing twice the work. Research across marinas that have migrated to Dockwa puts the average cost of that double-entry at $180 to $1,600 per year in staff time alone.

That math changes fast when you factor in errors, missed data, and the time spent reconciling two sources of truth.

If you're curious what dual-entry is costing your marina, we built a calculator for that.

Storage is Now Spaces

You may notice that what used to be called "Storage" in your Dockwa account is now called Spaces.

The rename reflects what the feature actually does: manage wet slips, dry stack, and winter storage from a single view. Live assignments. Digital dockwalks. Real-time availability. It's not just a storage tool — it's how you manage every square foot of your marina that a vessel occupies.

Same features. Better name. Same place in your dashboard.

Your Fuel Dock Is a Marketing Asset

With diesel up 52% year over year, boaters are actively comparing fuel prices before they decide where to stop. Fuel searches on Dockwa are up 5x heading into this season.

Dockwa Deals — especially fuel deals — put your marina in front of those boaters. When you run a deal, you're featured in boater communications, surfaced to Dockwa+ members, and moved up in search results. Automatic redemption for Dockwa+ members means the discount applies at checkout without any extra work for your staff.
