 What is Dockwa?

Dockwa is a platform that connects boaters to marinas like never before. Through Dockwa, boaters will be able to search, reserve, and pay for their reservations with the click of a button, all through their mobile device. No more radio, phone calls, or waiting days for a confirmation.

 We have built a product that allows marinas the ability to post their available transient inventory (dockage and moorings) to thousands of boaters in real time. Dockwa then creates a reservation process, which is easy and enjoyable for boaters and marinas.

Why did we pick the New England Boat Show for our first public appearance?

That’s easy….New England is home to us, and Dockwa will be launching exclusively to the New England market this coming June. Last year, the New England Boat Show drew nearly 50,000 boating enthusiasts from the area. With expectations for this year to be bigger than ever, it is the perfect opportunity to provide all of you with an early look into how Dockwa plans on changing the game for boating reservations.

 Boston has also been instrumental in turning this dream into a reality for us. Over the past several months, we have been working closely with the top marinas in the Boston Harbor. These businesses have helped us understand the pain points experienced by both the marina and boater, which Dockwa aims to solve for. We have been humbled by their enthusiasm and willingness to help create a world-class product to provide a better experience for their customers.

 We are proud to say that before we launch, the majority of transient dockage in Boston Harbor will be live on the Dockwa platform. Boston, along with other major New England boating destinations, will be some of the first “Dockwa-enabled waters” in the world. We are working hard to expand quickly to others shortly thereafter. Good news for you boaters!
