The wharf is comprised of three different piers, North, South and West Docks, and has space for vessels both small and large (or up to 275 feet). Visitors of Tisbury Wharf are provided with a full range of amenities that include a concierge and vessel agent service staffed by friendly and helpful professionals in addition to access to the private harbor beach!
Traveling to the different towns throughout the island is extremely easy with the Martha’s Vineyard Transit Authority bus located right across the street. If you are making an extended stay at Tisbury Wharf and decide you want to have a vehicle of your own, there are bicycle, moped, and car rentals within walking distance of the wharf. There are many lodging options available in the area including a host of quaint bed and breakfasts and hotels such as the top-rated Mansion House.
Whether you’re spending the say swimming at one of the local swimming beaches or cruising around the island waters, there are plenty of fun activities in the area in the evening. Grab a bite to eat at the Black Dog Tavern and browse around their shop to pick out some of their famous Black Dog apparel. Afterwards, we recommend checking out the Martha’s Vineyard Film Center for a film screening, art exhibit, or guest speaker!
The next time you're docking in Vineyar Haven, consult the Dockwa app to eliminate the stress of reserving a slip or mooring!
