Michigan Marinas

As Michigan borders four out of the five Great Lakes, it comes as no surprise that it’s home to one of the largest boating communities in the country. It’s the only state with two peninsulas, has the longest freshwater coastline in the U.S., offers five national parks, and is also home to Lake St. Clair, often referred to as the sixth Great Lake. Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore sits on the Upper Peninsula and features breathtaking, multicolored cliffs. If you head south, you’ll find the sandy white beaches of Grand Haven. Detroit, Michigans’s largest city, offers a variety of art museums, new eateries, urban parks. There is no shortage of boater friendly places to visit.
